Post breakfast, start with visiting the Mattancherry Palace (also known as Dutch Palace), decorated with the murals of Ramayana and lively displays of royal customs and palanquins. Visit the St. Francis Church built by the Portuguese in 1510 AD. Then, visit the Bolgatty Palace and Jewish Synagogue before leaving for Munnar via road.

This is known to be the only sanctuary in India where you get the opportunity to gaze at such diverse wildlife from a safe distance from the lake on a motor boat.
